Shipping & DDP Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

This policy explains how our DDP (Delivered Duty Paid, Incoterms® 2020) door-to-door services work.

1. What “DDP” Means

Under DDP, ship4ddp pays all applicable duties, taxes, and import clearance costs and delivers goods to your door. You receive a single all-in price with no separate customs bills. (See also our Compliance & Customs Disclaimer.)

2. Covered Services

  • Air DDP — express and deferred air freight with door delivery.
  • Sea DDP (FCL & LCL) — full-container and consolidated ocean freight.
  • Rail & Trucking DDP — China–Europe rail (China Railway Express) and trucking (“卡航”) options.

3. How It Works

  1. Goods collected from your China supplier or our warehouse.
  2. Export clearance in China.
  3. International line-haul (air/sea/rail/truck).
  4. Import clearance + duty/tax paid by ship4ddp at destination.
  5. Last-mile delivery to your address.

4. Transit Times

Published times are estimates only, calculated from port/airport to port/airport plus clearance. Delays from customs, weather, holidays, or carrier disruptions are outside our control and not guaranteed.

5. Goods Requirements

You (or your supplier) must provide accurate product description, HS code, and declared value. Misdeclaration may cause seizure, fines, or denied entry — for which the Customer is responsible (see Compliance Disclaimer).

6. Prohibited & Restricted Goods

We do not ship weapons, explosives, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, sanctioned items, or goods restricted by origin/destination law. The restricted list is available on request.

7. Tracking

Shipment tracking is provided where available from the carrier. Tracking visibility may vary by lane and mode.

8. Loss & Damage

Claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery). Compensation follows the applicable convention (e.g., Warsaw/Montreal for air, Hague-Visby for sea) and is capped at the declared cargo value, unless higher cover is purchased in advance. We assist with carrier claims.

9. Duty & Policy Fluctuation

Our DDP price is quoted on current duty rates. If destination tariffs change after quote but before import (e.g., new Section 301 lists, EU CBAM adjustments), any additional duty is assessed per the order’s force-majeure/price clause. We will notify you of material changes where feasible.

10. Remote Area & Accessorial Fees

Remote-area delivery, oversize, or special-handling fees may apply and are quoted separately.
